Our Summer Camp this week at The Picklr RSM are full of girls ages 6-10years old that are enamored with The NJ 5s | Major League Pickleball and Anna Leigh Waters. Today they split into two teams with the “Junior 5s” taking on “The Pickles” with each team having their own cheer. Thank you MLP Major League Pickleball, and especially Anna Leigh Waters for inspiring these girls to fall in love with this game!

One Year Flashback to August 2, 2025.
A year ago, we came together for the Hai-Lite Sports Pickleball Getaway at Loews Coronado—an unforgettable time filled with great matches, laughter, and connection. We did it, guys! Hai-Lite Sports first-ever, first-of-its-kind week-long adult summer pickleball camp in Orange County is officially in the books—and somehow everyone survived five straight days of pickleball without permanently needing an ice pack on any parts of their body. Seeing everyone arrive in their bright, colorful ’80s attire made Friday even more memorable. Between the neon outfits, headbands, and throwback vibes, it was hard to tell whether we were at a pickleball camp or filming an ’80s music video.

A huge thank-you to The Picklr Christy Jordan Deutschle Tracey Swanitz Rancho Santa Margarita for supporting our camp and fully embracing the theme by playing ’80s music throughout the day. The music, outfits, one-point tournament, and fixed-partner round robin created the perfect Friday Funday atmosphere—competitive enough to bring out everyone’s inner champion, but fun enough that we could all laugh at the occasional very ambitious shot selection.

Let’s Go Sandy! Groundstroke drives start from a strong load up stage where the legs and unit-turn create the kinetic chain necessary to drive through the ball. We tethered Sandy to the fence with a bungee cord and forced her to focus on her footwork and load. Great Job! #
