This gathering will ground us in the history of Black midwives, name the current challenges facing midwifery today, and move us toward collective action. 🤎

Together SBJN, NBMA and Sistersong will break down what a resolution or proclamation is, why it matters, and the step-by-step process for getting one passed in your city or state in support of Black midwifery and birth justice.

We will learn, share and build power ✊🏾 whether you’re a midwife, birthworker, advocate, or community member ready to support birth justice.
