✨ Deep Relief Comfrey Joint & Muscle Salve ✨

Over the past several weeks, I’ve had several customers reach out looking for something specifically for chronic muscle soreness, stiff joints, old injuries, and everyday aches. After listening to your feedback, I knew I wanted to create something that went beyond a traditional muscle rub.

I’ve also heard from many of you who are navigating the discomfort that can come with aging, overuse, and even “bone-on-bone” joint concerns. While no topical product can replace medical care or change the structure of a joint, my hope was to create a thoughtfully crafted salve that supports comfort, nourishment, and care through carefully selected traditional herbal ingredients.

This formula is a true labor of love — created by bringing together the beautiful foundations of two of my most-loved products: my Comfrey Salve and my Muscle Rub.

This isn’t simply combining two products. It is the process of thoughtfully selecting and balancing ingredients from both formulas to create an entirely new premium blend — one where every botanical, oil, butter, and preparation method has been intentionally chosen with a purpose.

Not all “gelling” ingredients are created the same!

Many people are familiar with pectin, a plant-based fiber commonly used to thicken jams and jellies. But have you heard about animal-based gelatin made from collagen-rich sources?

Traditional gelatin comes from parts of animals that are naturally rich in collagen — including bones and connective tissues. Through the process of making gelatin, those collagen proteins are extracted and concentrated.

Why does that matter?

🌿 Gelatin contains amino acids that are the building blocks of collagen
🌿 Traditionally used to support healthy skin, hair, nails, and connective tissues

A Little Reminder About Small Businesses ❤️

As a small business owner, I think it’s important to share something that many people may not see behind the table, the booth, or the product sitting on the shelf.

Your money is yours, and your choice is yours. If you find something you love at Walmart, Amazon, another small business, or even decide to make it yourself — that is absolutely okay! In fact, I love seeing people learn, create, and become more aware of what goes into the products they use. The knowledge and education being shared is a beautiful thing, whether you purchase from me or not.

But I do want to remind everyone that behind every small business is a real person.

Small business owners spend countless hours researching ingredients, testing recipes, sourcing materials, preparing inventory, fixing mistakes, learning, creating, packaging, marketing, and sacrificing time that could have been spent elsewhere — often with their families.

Many of us choose quality over shortcuts. We carefully select ingredients, sometimes sourcing directly from nature, and sometimes investing in premium materials because we believe what we create should be something we would proudly use in our own homes.

Small businesses are not always just selling a product — many of us are sharing a passion, a craft, a skill, or something deeply meaningful to us.

Recently, I was reminded that while comparisons and choices are part of business, the way we communicate with one another matters. If something isn’t for you, that is completely okay. You are free to choose another option, shop somewhere else, or make it yourself. But remember there is a real person standing behind that table who has poured time, energy, research, and heart into what they created.

A simple “thank you” or even quietly walking away goes a long way. It costs nothing to be kind.

Small business owners have thick skin, but we are still human. A comment about pricing, quality, or where someone can “get it cheaper” may seem small, but there is often a lot of love, sacrifice, and purpose behind that product.

Large companies may be able to purchase ingredients and materials at a fraction of the cost because of their buying power. Small businesses often pay full price while putting their heart into every single item.

And please know — this isn’t about expecting everyone to shop small every single time. Many of us understand that budgets are real. We have been there too. I personally believe in trading, bartering, and finding ways to support one another when we can. Community is built through kindness, not just transactions.

So shop where you feel led. Support who you can. Make it yourself if that’s what works for you. There is room for everyone.

But above all — lead with kindness. ❤️

Because behind every small business is a person who believed in something enough to create it.

📢 A Few Business Updates from New Covenant Creations 🌿

As my business continues to grow, I’ve been prayerfully evaluating where my time is best spent—both for my family and for serving my customers.

July will be my final month at both the St. Gabriel Firefly Under the Moon Market and my vendor space at The Artist Loft in Baton Rouge.

I am so thankful for the opportunities these locations have given me and for every customer who has supported my small business along the way. Your encouragement has meant the world to me.

Moving forward, I’ll be focusing on my home market, where you can find me:
