I had my 8 week post op appointment today, so to celebrate I treated the staff to some delicious and adorable cookies!

big things ahead….phase 2 of my surgery will be coming up, but first my book launch is tomorrow!

i am getting my LinkTree updated!

this will be a place to go for the link to my book starting on {TUESDAY} march 31. there is also a tab you can click on to message about purchasing my journal. and, the no filter website link too.

i am learning technology while building this platform. and, while my laser is still down, i am working hard on getting new journal pages out.

with 2025 nearly behind us I’d like to take a moment to thank you.

thank you for being here, liking, sharing, ordering, and supporting me in this little space.

2025 was a good one. we traveled, kids flourished and reached new milestones in their own lives, todd stayed busy, Harley grew more gray and another year older with us, and I found contentment within myself.

right around the busiest time of year (pre-Christmas) my laser went down. thankfully I had a friend, also in the business, that spent countless hours to help me get my orders up and out. honestly could not have finished out this year without her.

the laser will be getting shipped out, and after our family vacation, I’ll also be out of commission for awhile. I’ll be having surgery at the end of next month, but hoping to be as productive as my body allows while I’m recovering.

I have a few ideas in mind for what 2026 will look like: a project years in the making finally hitting the pages, and continuing to live life unbothered.

friends, I hope you know those that want to be in your life, will be. those that root for you along the way, are the ones you can always count on, and those that pray for you in silence are truly a gift.

remember, if you focus on the good, you will continue to see good.

little update ✨

ornaments will be being getting finished up tomorrow (wednesday 12/3) minus the last 20-25 that still need to be cut. i will be tagging/messaging everyone as their orders are getting bagged up. i apologize for the delays, this was not the ideal situation during this season. lastly, messages will be responded to as well.

women supporting women.
women being vulnerable.
women showing strength.
women cheering each other on.

and today I got to witness this all from my seat and while taking the stage at Mercy One’s Jingle and Shine: Celebrating Women’s Strength Luncheon.

i feel incredibly honored that I got to be a part of this event today. it was beautifully done, the food was delicious, there was a crowd of comfort, and every time I tell my story it sparks a little fire inside me and reminds me to keep seizing these opportunities.

UPDATE #2: a friend/maker is helping me finish ornaments tomorrow 🎉 I will be cutting extras, just in case there are more orders coming through! So extremely thankful!

*UPDATE*

seconds after taking this picture, my laser stopped.

naturally, it would happen during the one time of the year I “advertise” these ornaments. and, I do it because I love them and I know how much others do too.

with that being said, I’m not letting this stop me. I have reached out to my laser maker (to no avail), I have reached out to a 3rd party fixer, and out of desperation I have reached out to another small business owner in hopes that these can get finished up asap.

I do have enough (almost) finished that I will start contacting people! plus, I know I have a couple others that have reached out in messenger and I will get your names down and respond to those soon too!

this is an eventful week: with birthdays, sports, No Filter Open House, and my speaking event but please know these ornaments are on the forefront of my mind.

everyone please cross your fingers and say a little prayer that things will work out as smoothly as possible.

after a night in Vegas and walking 5 miles in heels it’s the perfect day to rest my feet and start working on ornaments.
