Splintered Light Theatre Splintered Light Theatre is a tiny theatre company specializing in puppetry. We use found objects and recycled materials as often as possible.

Sarah Elizabeth Schantz is interested in the evolution of the fairy tale, over time and across culture, and how these retellings change the archetypes of the collective unconscious and how this shift might alter the conscious collective. etaphor, fantasy and the non-human. She enjoys designing, building, and manipulating puppets in both conventional and experimental fashions. Emily Saavedra is most interested in art that resonates. Emily is inspired by watching ordinary objects come to life and how in it's often wordless simplicity, puppetry has the ability to speak to our basic humanness and our understanding through feeling. Emily left Splintered Light Theatre in 2015, and started Shadow Catcher Theatre. Be sure to check them out!
