Sammie Starritt is the daughter of Lee and Brittany Starritt. Ranch raised and rodeo ready, she’s grown up in the western way of life she loves and is always working alongside her family on the ranch. She loves rodeo, whether she’s competing in the arena or cheering from the stands, and has a deep appreciation for the community and people that make it what it is. Sammie is known for being spunky, gritty, and full of personality. She hopes to represent rodeo in a way that’s genuine, true to who she is, and something others can connect with.

“The title of Miss Rodeo Texas Princess is more than a crown to me, it is a chance to represent a lifestyle, a sport, and a tradition that is helping to shape who I am.

I want to inspire others the way rodeo queens and my mom have inspired me. The horses I’ve been blessed to ride and the people I’ve met have taught me courage, resilience, and how to find my confidence.

These experiences led me to create my platform, B’s B.U.C.K.A.R.O.O Buddies, to encourage others to be unique, confident, kind, and respectful. Rodeo feels like family, and I want to share that sense of belonging with others.

I know this lifestyle can be challenging, but it has shown me how strong I can be. With effort, courage, and support, I’ve learned that I can reach any goal.”
