It’s prime wedding season!!

September and October are #1 and #2 months to get married and due to the large number of bridal gowns we have for weddings happening between September 1-October 15th I will be CLOSED on Fridays completely during that time so I can actually get work done!

I am truly blessed to have so much work coming in but I can’t ever physically do it during my open hours because I am busy with the customer service part of this job.
- I do everything after hours. (at night and on the weekends)

With that I will also be limiting the amount of “everyday” tailoring I take on during that time.

A wedding day is such a BIG event and one of the most important days in a person’s life we want to make sure every garment is done correctly and not rushed.

I wish I could help everyone with everything but I am not just a small business owner, I am also a mom of 4 and need to sleep at some point. 🙃

Thank you for understanding and continued support! It doesn’t go unnoticed!

From this to that…. And a mini that!

My bride-to-be wanted a custom two piece outfit made from her mother’s wedding dress for her rehearsal dinner outfit.

We took the top of her mother’s dress and reshaped it into an off the shoulder top. I then took some of the material from the bottom of the dress to make a matching pencil skirt adding the same lace trim from the bottom of the gown to the skirt.

From what was left of the wedding gown I was also able to make a flower girl dress for her niece for the wedding. Using the same bow from the back of her mom’s dress, making is a little smaller, and adding it to the back for an extra special touch.

Some of you may have seen this suit in my shop while I was working on this masterpiece, well here it is!!!

Anthony wanted a custom suit to match his gf’s beautifully bedazzled gown. After making sure the fit of the suit was to his liking I got to work on cutting and hand sewing the jeweled lace on.

I also did the alterations on her dress. Amaya not only needed it taken in and hemmed, she also wanted to make some changes to the gown. Closing up the slit, rounding out the bust of her dress so it wasn’t too pointy, and adding off the shoulder sleeves to give it a more romantic feel.

These two were definitely a show stopping couple at the Dracut High prom on Friday night!

Proms are in full blast and these kids are looking AMAZING!!

This couple came to me for alterations and a little customization.

What I cut off the hem of her dress I made into a matching bow tie and pocket square for him.
Besides altering his suit to fit like a glove, we added photos of his loved ones to the liner of his jacket for a more personal touch.

Half way through prom season and the tiredness is real, BUT this is my time to shine and what I look forward to every year. So time to finish my coffee and get cracking on more dresses! 💪🏼❤️

KK Tailoring’s store front is connect to the apartment building in the back, and there is a studio apartment available for RENT.

We are NOT moving or selling the building.
