From this to that…. And a mini that!

My bride-to-be wanted a custom two piece outfit made from her mother’s wedding dress for her rehearsal dinner outfit.

We took the top of her mother’s dress and reshaped it into an off the shoulder top. I then took some of the material from the bottom of the dress to make a matching pencil skirt adding the same lace trim from the bottom of the gown to the skirt.

From what was left of the wedding gown I was also able to make a flower girl dress for her niece for the wedding. Using the same bow from the back of her mom’s dress, making is a little smaller, and adding it to the back for an extra special touch.

Some of you may have seen this suit in my shop while I was working on this masterpiece, well here it is!!!

Anthony wanted a custom suit to match his gf’s beautifully bedazzled gown. After making sure the fit of the suit was to his liking I got to work on cutting and hand sewing the jeweled lace on.

I also did the alterations on her dress. Amaya not only needed it taken in and hemmed, she also wanted to make some changes to the gown. Closing up the slit, rounding out the bust of her dress so it wasn’t too pointy, and adding off the shoulder sleeves to give it a more romantic feel.

These two were definitely a show stopping couple at the Dracut High prom on Friday night!

This was a special one for me. I’ve known Kevin his whole life, so naturally I was honored to help him get fit for prom. From finding the suit, to the shoes and bow tie and then alterations for a perfect fit. ❤️

Proms are in full blast and these kids are looking AMAZING!!

This couple came to me for alterations and a little customization.

What I cut off the hem of her dress I made into a matching bow tie and pocket square for him.
Besides altering his suit to fit like a glove, we added photos of his loved ones to the liner of his jacket for a more personal touch.

Half way through prom season and the tiredness is real, BUT this is my time to shine and what I look forward to every year. So time to finish my coffee and get cracking on more dresses! 💪🏼❤️
