I am sad to announce that Abbey London Boutique is closing. We are closing for a few reasons.
The first is a good one: I will be teaching 6th grade in the fall and will not have time to devote to an online store.
The second is that sales are down. We recently moved to Illinois and the cost to change Abbey London to IL from NC is more than the profit would be right now.
Finally, my inbox is flooded with emails from people in the UK demanding their money back. They have confused Abbey London Boutique with an online store in the UK called Abbey London. Every day, my inbox is full of British people calling me a fraud and demanding their money back. I don’t sell to the UK. If I ever do reopen the store, I will probably have to change the name.
