1. All auctions start at a minimum of $1 please don't post an item that you are not comfortable getting as little as $1 for. No change (whole dollar increments)
2. Auctions go for 24 hrs exactly from the time posted. Example auction posted at 12:15 will end at 12:15:59. Once the clock turns to 12:16 you bid is invalid. Times are based off what is posted in the listing. Please try your best to have the times based off exactly when you post. We understand a few minutes off but please try to adjust your times if its more than 3 minutes off.
3. All bids should be their own comment, no replies so that all bidders have a chance to counterbid. Under main thread if there are multiple photos.
4. No blocking of admins
5. If you need a time stamp just type admin or timestamp in the comments of you post and an admin will help as soon as possible. You can also time stamp the auction yourself.
6. Please delete your auctions 24 hrs after your auction has ended, make sure that before you delete it there has been some kind of communication between seller and buyer. If needed take screen shots of your listing and winners comment. This will help keep the feed clean for active posts. Posts on the feed over 5 days old will be removed automatically.
7. Seller must include the following in their sale post:
- clear photo of item
- video of item working if electronic
- item description
- item condition
- pick up location (general area)
- smoke and pet status
-Payment preferences
- bid start and end times
No cross posting items!
8. If you win an item please thoroughly check over the item before purchase. We are all adults so once the item has left the sellers possession there is no argument. Admins are not responsible.
9. If you bid on an item it’s a commitment to pick up said item. No passing or changing your mind. This can result in removable from the group. So ask questions and make sure you really want the item.
10. No posting pets, medication, alcohol, fi****ms or recalled baby items
11. No advertising except on small business Saturday’s 😊
12. You may bump your auction every 4 hours from the last comment on the post and once extra in the last hour to let everyone know it is ending soon.
13. Food must be within expiration date
14. Sellers please tag winner in your auction post comments. Allow them 24 hrs to respond. If you have not received a response you may repost the item. If you have received a response but item has not been picked up within 3-5 days please repost and refund money if needed. Buyers please do your part with communicating and picking up items. If you have issues and need to repost please let an admin know beore doing so.
15. If you are worried about people deleting bids on an item please screen shot with proof. Deleting bids can get you removed from the group. Deleting auctions before they end can result in an automatic removal from the group.
16. COVID GUIDELINES:
BUYERS- Please get in contact with your seller immediately to let them know things have changed. You’re still expected to get the item you won. Because of the circumstances, you will have an extra three days to arrange new pick up times. Please make sure electric form of payment is in place. (FB Pay, Venmo, PayPal, etc. Porch pick ups are highly encouraged.
SELLERS- if you have a buyer that has reached out with Covid please give them extra 3 days. If it has passed please contact admin team.
17. When paying electronically DO NOT pay goods and services. These are second hand items and it charges the seller a fee when you pay this way. If this happens they can refund you the amount with the charge and ask for different method of payment so please double check that you are not paying goods and services!
