Her passion for sewing has turned into something more than she may have expected. She was approached by family and friends to create something out of a loved one's clothing who had recently passed. On one instance it was a sister who had passed away and they wanted something that they are able to have around that is not only a memory of her, but they could use. She came up with the idea of throw p

illows and blankets. At the same time a mother of a young child had passed and Char was approached to make something out of the mothers clothing for the child. She ended up making a bear out of the mother's pajamas. The child now gets to sleep and cuddle with mommy every night.
