🌱 A Rooted Lesson: Your Voice Was Never Lost

There comes a moment in our growth where we realize something powerful…

We weren’t actually searching for our voice.

We were learning to trust it.

For many of us, our voice has been there all along.

It has shown up as the quiet feeling in our heart that says, “Something feels different.”

The inner knowing that asks us to pause.

The gentle nudge reminding us to honor ourselves.

But somewhere along the way, many of us learned to silence that voice.

We learned to keep the peace.

We learned to put everyone else’s comfort before our own.

We learned to question our own intuition.

And little by little, we became disconnected from the wisdom that was always within us.

✨ Growth is not about becoming someone new.

It’s about returning to who we were before we learned to shrink.

A healthy boundary is not rejection.

A clear voice is not cruelty.

Choosing yourself is not selfish.

It is an act of self-respect. 🤍

Sometimes finding your voice looks like having the conversation you’ve been avoiding.

Sometimes it looks like saying, “I need time.”

“I need communication.”

“I need my space to feel safe.”

Sometimes it simply looks like honoring what your heart has been trying to tell you.

At Rooted & Rising, we believe women grow stronger when they are surrounded by support, encouragement, and a safe place to be honest.

Because your story matters.

Your voice matters.

Your dreams matter.

✨ The Circle You Keep Matters

Today was another Wednesday morning at our favorite coffee shop.

Just two sisters sitting together… dreaming, planning, encouraging one another, and pouring into the vision of Rooted & Rising.

As our meeting came to an end, something unexpected happened.

A gentleman who had been sitting behind us stopped me and said…

“Hi, Nicole.”

I smiled, a little surprised.

He shared that he follows me on Facebook, and we struck up a conversation.

At the same time, Francesca connected with the woman he had been meeting with. She shared that what we’re creating with “Rooted & Rising” is exactly the kind of community she’s been looking for and that she’d love to connect with us.

It was such a beautiful reminder…

You never know who you’re going to meet when you intentionally place yourself in spaces that align with your vision.

Sometimes the opportunities we pray 🤲 for don’t arrive through a perfectly planned strategy.

Sometimes they happen over a cup of coffee. ☕️

Sometimes they’re sitting at the table behind you.

Every Wednesday we choose proximity.

We choose conversations that inspire. ✨

We choose to dream out loud. 🔊

We choose to create space for growth. 🌿

And today reminded us that when you keep showing up… the right people often begin showing up too.

La Dolce Vita: Finding Beauty in the Everyday

There is an Italian phrase that has captivated hearts for generations: La Dolce Vita.

Literally translated, it means “the sweet life.” But I have come to believe it isn’t about wealth, luxury, or living a perfect life.

It’s about learning to recognize beauty exactly where you are.

Some of the sweetest moments in life aren’t found on a passport or in a five-star hotel. They’re found in quiet mornings before the world wakes up. They’re in fresh flowers on the kitchen table, handwritten journal pages, a cup of coffee enjoyed slowly, the sound of birds outside your window, or the peace that comes after choosing gratitude over worry.

For a long time, I believed life would begin again when everything was finally “fixed.”

When I healed.
When the business grew.
When life felt easier.
When the answers came.
