250 years of independence.
Today, we pause with gratitude for the rare and precious gift of living in a nation where we are free — free to speak, free to gather, free to worship Jesus, and free to lift His name without fear.
That freedom is worth remembering. Worth protecting. Worth thanking God for.
But even as we celebrate the liberty we have as Americans, we remember that the truest freedom is not granted by a government, secured by a document, or carried by a flag.
True freedom is found in Christ alone.
Freedom from sin. Freedom from shame. Freedom from fear. Freedom to walk as sons and daughters of the living God.
So today, we thank God for this country, for the sacrifices that made it possible, and for the greater freedom we have through Jesus — the One who sets captives free.
“If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” — John 8:36
Happy 250th Independence Day, America. 🇺🇸
