This was an experiment. I think it needs more spoons.

These teaspoons are exactly 120 years old. The pattern is "Roxbury."
According to historical silverplate archives, Oneida officially released the "Roxbury" pattern in 1906. It was designed by William A. Jameson.
The backstamp on your spoons, "Extra Coin Silver Plate," matches the exact manufacturing stamping standard Oneida utilized for this specific product line during that early 1900s era.
These are beautiful vintage silver-plated teaspoons from Oneida, specifically featuring a highly detailed, ornate floral pattern.
Here is a breakdown of what makes this set interesting:
The Pattern & Style
Design: The handles showcase a classic Victorian or Edwardian style, heavily decorated with raised rose blossoms, delicate leaves, and elegant scrolling foliage along the edges. The handle terminates in a beautiful, flared scalloped end, and the bowls have a traditional teardrop shape.
The Stamp: The reverse side is stamped "Extra Coin Silver Plate." In historical American replating standards, terms like "Coin Value" or "Extra Coin" were used by manufacturers to assure buyers that the thickness and quality of the silver used for the exterior plating met a high standard, comparable to the purity of coin silver ($90\%$ pure silver). It indicates a higher-grade, more durable plating than standard budget flatware of the era.
Creative Versatility
Pieces like this are highly sought after because the ornate, raised floral details run beautifully down the neck and handle. This makes them absolute favorites for repurposing into artisan jewelry—like statement spoon rings or bracelets—where the scalloped details wrap perfectly, or for building stunning, resonant wind chimes.
