✨Freedom✨

I find it interesting. This word. It holds a lot of weight. What freedom looks like to one individual, may look completely different to another.

I do believe that personal adornment is a representative of this word. The freedom to dress yourself in gorgeous textiles, or the simplest of.

So many cultures, for thousands of years adorned themselves with all of that which surrounds them. Using every bit of a harvest, the meat, fur or feathers, bone and sinew. Could you imagine harvesting a saber tooth tiger? And wearing its canine as your pendant? Ummm…hello badass!

The freedom to adorn oneself also shows the outside world a glimpse into the wearers, without words.

My next collection embodies this word. Freedom. And I can’t wait to share with you the full collection! And it’s name. Stay tuned my friends!….

✨My Next Collection✨

When going to market for my second collection of Auras & Alchemy, I had in mind all the feedback from my clients, and the private parties.

And what they expressed was MORE! They wanted to see more of my work, and have more options. The other thing that stuck out was size. I heard it loud and clear that smaller stones were desired.

So with that, I shopped my heart out and purchased a rainbow of colors. Really leaning into that feedback.

And what is on my table and in the works is amazing! I will have more bracelets, more necklaces, and more earrings!! I look forward to filling some holiday shopping lists! And revealing the name of my next collection!

✨Sunrises Sunsets✨

When creating my first collection Iron Hope, I knew distinctly that Auras & Alchemy would exist as two features of the collection. Auras being that knotted silk, fluid pieces, and Alchemy being the metal links. But I knew I wanted one more featured line to round off the perfect number 3.

At that time of creation, my hubs and I were catching many a sunrise, we had to wake up earlier, hop in the truck and drive out to this amazing ranch to capture the gorgeous sunrises.

It was one of these mornings that I had an ah-ha moment and knew exactly what I wanted to call the third collection. Sunrises & Sunsets. I’m obsessed with the colors the sky dances into. Creating some of the most spectacular color combinations.

There is something about facing East, knowing you rose to live another day, and at the end of that day, facing West and watching that glorious Sun dive back down, looking as if it’s melting. I get lost in those moments.

✨Alchemy✨

To me this word represents being able to weave magic. Because let’s get real, chemistry looks a bit like magic, right?

Being a modern day alchemist I use stones and wire and transform it into wearable talismans. A symbol to others. A sign of protection, with a hint of enchantment.

Alchemy has been around for a few thousand years. Dating back to the 8th century. But as humans we have been adorning ourselves in jewelry for 150,000 years. The very first consisting of shells, bones, talons and sewn together with animal sinew.

It was when these two worlds collided that the real sorcery started to happen. Metal mixed with stones, creating some of the most exquisite, powerful pieces of adornment.

That dance of metal and sparkle of stone, the jewelers spell work. Whether it be ancient high priest/priestess chest plates, royal crowns, down to the simple gold band found on many a left hand. Alchemy is alive. And when you wear a piece of Iron Hope’s Alchemy line, that’s what I want. I want you to feel alive, the sorcerer of your own spells.

✨Auras✨

This word means so much to me. It’s the epitome of my life. Energy. How I arrive. And how I exit.

When working to launch this new collection of mine, my first collection to be exact, I questioned who am I?

Well, who I am is energy. A collection of bits and pieces, sprinkled with space dust. And that’s ‘Auras’.

My jewelry line consists of three components. Auras. Alchemy. Sunrises/Sunsets. And ‘Auras’ is the slice of me that arrives and enters a room before my physical body does.

With ‘Auras’, I created jewelry to assist you in just that. Arriving in ‘ENERGY’, because arriving in ‘style’ is so 1980’s.

Her aura is made of poetry, roses and galaxies 💫
