Yesterday I got the opportunity to showcase a wide range of my ever growing skills to share the stage with some of Eugene’s most amazing talents in fashion. I was one of 14 designers for the Reclaim fashion show put on by MECCA Eugene and The Hybrid Gallery and I had the pleasure of using scrap materials from DLX Family Foundation aka DLX and Mountain Rose Herbs to create two looks that will forever shape my future designs! And a thousand thanks to everyone’s favorite fairy queen Jackie Pietz-Graef for being my guinea pig for this show. She did phenomenally on the runway and brought my design to life. Now back to my regularly scheduled alterations and denimwear 👖

Fresh 14 oz denim and fresh thread means a whole new set of elements to stock up on. My signature three-piece pockets take a bit longer to put together but they were designed to lower waste by using smaller scraps that would otherwise get thrown out. A bonus is that they look great too!
