Comanche Flair

Comanche Flair No cookie cutter patterns here! Every piece I make is unique, and one of a kind. Lucky You! My name is Amanda.

I am a great-great granddaughter of Comanche Chief Quanah Parker. My grandpa Clifford was the son of Quanah's daugher Mary. In the 80s, my dad (a master craftsman himself) moved from Oklahoma to Oregon where he met my mom, and that how I came to be. I grew up dancing at pow wows across the nation with my parents and inherited their love of native crafts. I began sewing in middle school, and took s

ewing classes in high school. Now, with a decade of sewing under my belt, I'm confident enough to sell my pieces. I get all my fabric at the Pendleton Woolen Mills in Portland, Oregon. I work exclusively with remnants and odds-and-ends to make bags, wallets, purses and pillows - with a Comanche flair!
