Reminder.....tomorrow will be our last day open at our store this week as we will be setting up...at.....

Some updates on this Friday and Saturday at the !!

- you can purchase Friday and Saturday tickets at the door however they will not start selling until the event begins.

- Our Mother’s Day ticket MUST be purchased in advance! We will stop selling Mother’s Day tickets on Friday. This ticket includes VIP priority parking, a free drink, a very nice gift, a coupon to and admission for both days!

- The Marketplace at the Market Beautiful is still looking for more furniture! Do you have pieces that you don’t want to sell online but you want to get rid of? DM us photos so that we can see what you have and you can drop those pieces off with us tomorrow or Friday morning! No fees to sell other than commission if your piece sells!

Ode to the June-Bearing Strawberry…written by a friend. 🧡

Not for you the endless, quiet giving
of a plant that trickles sweetness through the season.
No, you are a grand performance.
A red-ripe chorus.
A brief and glorious yes.

All spring you gather yourself in secret,
lifting white blossoms like small handkerchiefs
to the warming air,
asking us to trust what we cannot yet taste.
Then June arrives,
and suddenly the rows are jeweled.

You do not whisper.
You arrive.

Your berries swell with the memory of rain,
with cool nights and lengthening days,
with the patience of roots working underground
while the rest of us are still looking at the sky.
And when you are ready,
you are not shy about it.
You redden all at once
like the field itself has decided to blush.

There is nothing efficient about loving you.
You ask for bent backs, stained fingers,
the quick hunt beneath leaves,
the bowl that fills slower than hope and faster than expected.
You ask for attention.
For timing.
For presence.

But what you give in return
is the taste of early summer made tangible.
A sweetness with a green edge still clinging to it,
a softness that refuses long travel,
a fruit too tender for distance,
made for hands, for kitchens, for porches,
for being eaten before the basket reaches the house.

You are abundance with a deadline.

Good morning Eureka! We are open today 11-4 and I'm scurrying to get the store in tip top shape (after the mess I've had the last 2 weeks 🫣) and getting ready for our 2nd annual Easter Egg Hunt this Saturday 🐣 🐰

I feel like I took a hiatus from my storefront I've been gone so much! But we are back and ready to serve YOU Eureka!! Resuming our normal hours tomorrow, we are open Wednesday -Friday 11-4, and Saturday 11-2.

Now, it is still a work in progress, and I don't have everything on there but I just couldn't wait any longer! I was like a kid on Christmas morning! So go check it out, play around with it, and give me feedback so I know what needs fixed!
