Self care era? No. Protection era.

I stopped giving my energy to everything and everybody that didn’t deserve it.

Fresh nails...Clear mind…Guarded heart
That’s not self care. That’s stewardship!

📖Philippians 4:7 says the peace of God will guard your heart and your mind.

So yeah….I CHOSE ME! Because He told me to!

There was a season I showed up to church with a whole attitude. Not at people. At God.

I was tired of praying and feeling like nothing was moving. Tired of smiling when I was numb. Tired of performing faith I didn’t feel.

But something in me wouldn’t let me me walking out.
So I stayed. Mad and all. Confused and all. Questions and all.

And that’s when I learned…YOU don’t have to feel it to be faithful…YOU just have to keep moving!

This is for the woman who showed up this week with grace on her face and weight nobody saw.

Before you rush into the weekend, pause.

God met you while you kept showing up.
He covered moments you almost moved past.
That wasn’t random.
That was grace.

You showed up.
God covered you.
That deserves a pause.

Whoever needs to hear this this morning…

God is not mad at you for being tired.

He’s not waiting for you to pull it together before He shows up.

He’s not looking at the version of you that’s been holding everything together for everybody else…
while quietly asking Him, “how much longer?”

That’s not weak faith.

That’s honest faith.

And honest faith still moves.

He sees you right where you are…
and He’s already in it with you.

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you.”
Isaiah 41:10
