One of the spectacular moments which occurred a few weekends ago during our family reunion trip to SF was a great conversation I had was with this young man. He was one of the City Sightseeing bus tour staff members at Fisherman's Wharf & we talked about my African beaded necklace you always see me wearing daily.

Him: Do you know what you're wearing??
Me: Yes. I was told that these were African trading beads when I bought them from one of my vendors.
Him. Correct. I am from North Africa.(Tunisia) My grandmother had those. The story goes they are supposed to bring good luck & fertility.
Me: (I already knew what I was going to do but I just wanted to hear more about his family story ) Did you get any of them from her? Is she still alive?
Him: No. She died.
Me: Well here you go! ( I gave him my matching African trading beads bracelets. )
Him: Oh Thank you! Bless you! This means so much to me!! 😁
Me: I already knew I was going to give it to you because the Holy Spirit told me to. I just wanted to hear your story. I have been wearing these for 3 years. We were meant to meet and for me to give this to you! 😊

Reflection:
Y'all this is why I let God use me to create and interact with everyone. It's my spiritual gifts of discernment, evangelism, & exhortation being activated in an amazing way .. when I listen & follow suit that is 😆 This is why I let the Holy Spirit help me select mineral stones and create my Abacus Creations 🧮 jewelry and how I allowed Him to use me again later to create my Serve The Silent brand including my coloring & activity books but ultimately be proactive with ministry person to person in all i do with STS. Ultimately,, this is why I always say Serve The Silent. Who is your Silent? Who will you serve? It's not just my book but a movement. This moment was the best serving through ministry moment of that day! I think I better make some more of these for my next vending event to sell. I love being a blessing. Who wants one? Thank you God! Thank you Jesus!

Part 2 of 2 pics from Suisun Juneteenth Day 2 taught me never to give up and that if I hold space , God will fill it with my type of people who appreciate us as handcrafted & creative vendors. We are so thankful you all appreciate Abacus Creations handcrafted beaded jewelry, BeBe Luxe Naturals shea butter, & Just Norahz hand painted sunglasses & wire wrapped stones as well as my featured product, Serve The Silent in which I let the Lord use me to create this 76 page coloring & activity book masterpiece to become a published author & facilitate change as a movement with Serve The Silent. We're working on more creations as we research and prepare for the next vending event. Part 1 ...We had such a wonderful Juneteenth weekend that we're still resting up 😆 This only part 1 batch of pics.. I'll post part 2 & 3 from my tablet as well! We've just been basking in the positivity, Resilience, and unity of our local community. This is my favorite vending event of the year including seeing my village who shaped me from birth, childhood, teenage years, young & middle adulthood. It's like a mini reunion for our upbringing as well as between organizers, vendors ,as well as our wonderful customers. This is what collective community is all about ! We need one another to survive & thrive!

Happy Holidays! Hey ya'll! I hope you have been having a wonderful holiday season. As you know I haven't posted any jewelry designs for awhile and frankly I've been focusing on promoting my Serve The Silent coloring & activity books. My focus really shifted after tearing ligaments in my dominant hand/right wrist because it took a long time to recover and slowed down my creation time. I haven't forgotten about you all! I've also had increased family responsibilities.

Lately, I've been inspired to draw up a few necklace designs while I rehab torn ligaments in my knees that's grounded me alot. I will post them when I create them and am working on developing out my online store website as well. Today is Day 2 of Kwanzaa which focuses on Self-Determination. This is a holiday that I never got into until this week and am learning as well as applying some of the concepts. I've now accepted that we're in an undeniable place in our country and the world where we can no longer avoid having an online store/website so that will be my focus going into the new year, 2026. I hope you also see that it's more important than ever to support small businesses like mine because the corporations are dominating as well as mergers into mega conglomerates and many small businesses are pausing or closing.
