Let's face it: newborns are beautiful little creatures, but they're not always the most photogenic.
Have you ever seen another family's perfect newborn photos online and thought that there's no way your baby could ever look that calm and collected, so it's not worth investing in newborn portraits?
I assure you that their baby is no more naturally gifted as a model than your bundle of joy; they just picked a photographer who knows how to capture the 1/200 of a second that a baby is a picture perfect angel before the kiddo returns to crying, pooping, and projectile snotting all over the studio.
I've been photographing Crafted by Jam's gorgeous babies for years (I even photographed one being born!) and even though she makes gorgeous little babies, she and I both know that if you could Google translate baby cries, they all will have written me a review that would make a Karen blush.
