Such a charming quilt done in Moda’s Sunday Stroll fabrics. I thought it appropriate to quilt strawberries in Misty Jade to compliment the quilt.
Long arm machine quilting. Custom sewing for the home to include cushions (indoors and out), pillows, curtains and bedding.

Kaffe Fassette & Tula Pink
Working on a king size pinwheel wedding quilt. As you can see in the left picture, I was able to use a panto pattern that mimics the little yellow flower. It’s so cute!
Todays quest, a beautifully hand pieced nose gay quilt. I quilted it closely because every piece of fabric was on the bias. Ugh! It stayed flat and square! Hooray!
Here is my completely pieced Farmgirl Vintage 1 & 2 quilt. These were all 6” blocks - a total of 36. I added a 1-1/4” white sashing around each block then inserted a colorful 1-1/2” strip with a white corner block. The outer green border is a full 5”. The total size of the quilt is 64”x64”. Now to get it quilted!
Just purchased all the fabrics to create this Beautiful Day quilt. It takes two panels and a gazillion Courthouse Steps blocks. Can’t wait to get started.
Another customer quilt ready for St. Patty’sDay. Mint green shamrocks and hearts completed the look!
This quilt is titled “Green With Envy” from a magazine I had saved a few years ago. Two different blocks make up the pattern. The green solid is a Kona color of the year (Enchantment) for 2020; the ivory is a Moda Bella Solid called Snow. Only 48” square but was a lot of piecing of the small 2” squares. I’ll quilt it with mint green shamrocks and hang it from my second floor railing for March.
Today’s quilting adventure was for Jo’s brother. Well constructed in brown, cream and deep red in an assortment of primitive prints. The pattern I chose was Chinook with lots of curves to compliment the straight lines of this beauty.
Just completed this black and white with a punch of color quilt for Jo. The backing is a Kaffe Facett print which is silky smooth.
Just completed quilting this primitive Carolina Lily quilt for a customer. Love the scrappy mix of colors and florals.
Now booking for graduation and wedding quilts. Don’t wait!
The day has finally come! I am now officially retired & doing my long arm quilting full time! Call or message me soon!
My newest creation. Wreath embroidery on solid red with black accented borders.
Japanese shibori fabrics enhance this quilt pattern. Easy easy one day construction. Fabric are at Findlay Sewing Center!
Just had to pass this on!
Haven’t posted since August. Where does the time go! Trying to keep in touch! What have you been up to?
Wanted to share the newest members of my gardens. A yellow and white Japanese Iris. Small in stature but has about 25 blooms on it. The peonie was my Mothers Day gift from my Hubble. An adolescent plant with one fabulous pink bloom this first year.
New bloomers in the garden this week—Fuschia Pinks, Blue Eyed Grass, red Pinks and light purple Iris. The yellow beauty is a Japanese Iris. First bloom for this newcomer!
It’s that purple time of year. The iris are taller than ever and strikingly colorful. Planted allium bulbs last fall in the sunny garden and they are stunning and over 3-1/2 feet tall. What’s blooming in your garden right now?
It was a great spring for my bulb garden. I was able to feed these guys well before blooming, so they were all exceptional this year. The aroma of the hyacinths was amazing. How did your garden grow?
Generic and sports pantos are a great choice for the guy in your life. Make him a quilt and let me bring it to life with the pattern of your choice. Private message me for info.
Now taking quilts for long arm quilting edge to edge. Message me!
My latest accomplishment! This quilt is titled “Cheddar”. The original colorway was cheddar gold on white, but I thought it would look better on a deep indigo blue with a multi color border. The quilting was a variegated harvest gold. I’m very pleased with the results.
Haven't posted new quilts or runners cause I've been making masks, just like everyone else I know. The kids are getting ready to go back to school soon, so thought I'd turn my attention to my grand daughter who will be entering high school this year. I decided to make her some masks and thought it would be a good idea to embroider her school name on one side. Am in the testing stages now, so wish me luck in getting it right! What are you working on?
Saw this in my saved posts and just had to put it out there!
This is the finished version of an online Welsh block of the month quilt I've been working on the past few months. Named Kasbah, it is quite colorful and a complicated construction. Only two more months to go. Will post my finished quilt when it's done!
New Christmas quilt I just finished for the shop. We will be vending at the Kaleidoscope of Quilts at the Tamo-Shanner in Sylvania on July 12 & 13. Stop by the booth to see all our great new fabrics and try one of the new Babylock machines on for size! See u there!
