Meet the newest additions to our Bulldog collection:

1, Cuddle Buddy — soft, neutral, and impossible not to love
2. Warm Geometric — bold color with an artistic edge

A little Monday update from Breed & Thread’s Chief Inspiration Officer. 🐾

Belle recently developed a rash that earned us a trip to the vet. The good news is that she is doing much better and has already resumed her usual executive responsibilities: supervising me, requesting snacks, and sleeping through important meetings.

Running a small business has plenty of behind-the-scenes moments that never make it into the product photos. Belle is at the heart of this one, so I wanted to share the real-life update along with the good news.

Here’s to a healthier, happier week ahead. ❤️

Friday status report from Belle, our Chief Inspiration Officer:

Morale is high.
Weekend plans are approved.
Snack inventory remains dangerously low. 🐾

We’ve been a little quiet lately, but Belle and I are still here—dreaming up new artwork, celebrating the dogs who inspire us, and building Breed & Thread one paw at a time.

What does your dog have planned for the weekend?

Every small business needs strong leadership.

Ours just happens to have four paws, excellent hair, and absolutely no respect for office hours.

Miss Belle is Breed & Thread’s Chief Inspiration Officer. Her daily responsibilities include:

1. Supervising new designs
2. Sleeping through important decisions
3. Requesting frequent snack breaks
4. Monitoring everything Stevie does
5. Reminding us why this business exists

Belle inspired Breed & Thread because she represents what so many of us understand: our dogs aren’t accessories to our lives. They’re family, comedians, comfort, chaos and often the ones quietly keeping us going.

Now we want to meet the furry supervisor in your house.
What is your pet’s official job title? Tell us in the comments—and photos are always welcome!

Follow Stevie and Belle as we build Breed & Thread one design, dream, and dog-hair-covered day at a time.

Hi, we’re Stevie and Belle—the heart behind Breed & Thread.

Breed & Thread is a small, owner-operated business based in Fleming Island, Florida. I’m Stevie, the person building the dream. Belle is my Bernese Mountain Dog, Chief Inspiration Officer, and self-appointed quality control manager—usually from the couch.

This business began with a simple belief: pets aren’t “just pets.” They’re family. They fill our homes with muddy paws, couch cuddles, laughter, chaos, fur on everything—and a kind of love that changes us.

Our bigger dream is to give back to dogs in meaningful ways and eventually help create cool indoor spaces where dogs can safely run and play away from the intense Florida heat. Every design and every new follower helps us take another small step toward that future.

We’re still growing, learning, and building this little business one day at a time. When you follow Breed & Thread, you aren’t following a faceless company. You’re joining Stevie, Belle, and the rest of our animal crew for the real journey—the behind-the-scenes moments, the occasional chaos, and plenty of Belle.

Tell us about the animal who makes your house feel like home. We would genuinely love to meet them. ❤️

10 Things Every Bernese Mountain Dog Lover Already Knows 🐾

Miss Belle (a.k.a. our Chief Inspiration Officer) helped me write our very first Breed and Thread blog post — a love letter to Bernese owners everywhere.

If you've ever ended up on the floor because your 95-pound teddy bear decided today is a lap day… this one's for you.

A little bit funny, a little bit heartbreaking, and 100% written from someone who actually shares a couch with a Berner. 🤎
