I found these beautiful vintage wooden boxes at an antique store in Michigan today. All they need is a good cleaning and some Old English and they will have new life again!

Here are some ideas I have...

Jewelry box lined with velvet, floral fabric, or vintage wallpaper.

Keepsake memory box with old letters, photographs, baby keepsakes, etc.

Prayer/devotional box filled with bible verse cards, gratitude notes, tiny journals.

Vintage vanity box for perfume samples, lipstick, hairpins, jewelry, and other bits and bobs.

Handwritten letters to spouse, children, and future self

Dried flowers and herbs/ seed packets

Stationary box with vintage postcards, stamps, wax seals, and junk journals

Apothecary box with oils, matchbooks, and little bottles.

And of course (my favorite!), loose prints, old negatives, film, and a small nostalgic point and shoot camera 🥰

What are some ideas I missed? The possibilities are endless!

Did you know I started my journey repurposing jewelry? I haven't really put a lot of my focus on that lately. I do miss it! I just haven't had a ton of time and they just don't sell like they used to. Trends come and go. But I'll never stop creating and decorating what I like! And you should too. Next time you feel like you need to run to TikTok to buy the newest trend stop and think... are you buying it because it's what everyone else is doing or is it because you like it? Are you supporting an artist who put their heart and soul into creating? Don't be afraid to be unique. We aren't robots who copy and paste all of the time. I'm a sucker for tumblers and mugs and allll the things. But I'm also well aware of how easy it is to be caught up in consumerism. I'm finding myself to live life a little slower, consume less, and create more 🥰

I found these pillows today! I'm pretty sure I have matching curtains lol 😆 Long before the cottagecore trend there was Waverly! It's all I decorated with when I was a young 20 year old newlywed. I've never stopped loving the 90s/early 2000s florals!
