What does retro actually mean, and do the 80s and 90s count? My comment section started debating retro vs. vintage, so I looked it up.
Retro doesn’t have a specific age requirement. It refers to styles associated with or revived from the past. So yes, 80s and 90s fashion, décor and trends can officially be considered retro now.
I accept the definition. I do not accept what it implies about my age. 😂

What is the difference between vintage and antique? An antique is generally 100 years old or older, while vintage items are typically at least 20 years old but not yet 100. So your 1980s finds are officially vintage, not antique. 🖤
