Whoops! Thought this posted last week and it didn’t.

Update on the wisteria experiment: unfortunately it proved too brittle to be a good weaving medium, even with green vines getting a 24 hour soak. I know others have used it so maybe there’s a certain time it wants to be harvested in order to weave well, but for now I will be sticking to my ivy and grape vine. A worthwhile experiment!

And I may hold on to this twisty bit that grew this way for a unique handle idea…

I had a lot of Zoom meetings at my last job, which was almost entirely remote, so I always kept a “desk project” or something easy to work on with my hands so I could stay mentally focused on meetings.
