We want to extend our sincerest thanks to everyone in the community who lent a helping hand in clearing out our StrongHer Generation Store.💛

For over a decade, the Virginia Women and Family Support Center has supported women and families through housing, education, and compassion. Since opening last year, every purchase, donation, and act of support at the StrongHer Generation Store has helped continue that mission.

We’re incredibly grateful for the love and support from our community throughout this journey. A special thank you to Faith Encounters Community Church, Grace Covenant Church, Debra Jackson, Alayjah, Kim, Cindy, Wendy, Jasmine, Jamar, Erica, our staff, and our store manager Maria for your hard work, generosity, and continued support. We truly couldn’t have done this without you!

While this location may be closing, our mission continues stronger than ever, and we’re excited for what’s ahead. Stay tuned for the announcement of our new location. ✨

It takes a community and these two amazing women. Sincerest thanks to Wendy and Jasmine for your companionship, and support. It made this moment so much fun. Because for us, this isn’t the end of a chapter, it’s the continuation of a journey. 💛

Since opening in March 2025, every purchase, donation, and act of support at the StrongHer Generation Store has contributed to providing housing and essential resources for the women and children at the Virginia Women and Family Support Center.

For over a decade, the Virginia Women and Family Support Center has been dedicated to helping women and families rebuild their lives through support, stability, and compassion. With the continued support of our community, this mission has continued to grow stronger, reaching and impacting more women and children in need every year.

While this location may be closing, our work is far from over. This space has held so many stories, and we’re excited for what’s ahead.

Our new location will be announced soon, and we can’t wait to begin this next chapter with you. ✨

We need volunteers to help us pack and move our store and storage areas by THIS FRIDAY.
