The snack requests that never end. The "why" questions about everything. The sudden urgent need for something, anything, the moment you finally sit down. The full-scale negotiations over dinner. The complete emotional breakdown over the wrong color cup.

Lord, we come to you today with a very specific and deeply personal request. Her name is Patience. We need her back. 🤍

Nobody warned me that I would need hostage negotiation skills to get through a Tuesday morning. 😂🙏

The scene: 7:43am.
The situation: the cracker broke in half.
The toddler: inconsolable.
The mama: deploying every skill she has.

Step 1 — Acknowledge the feelings. "I understand you're upset about the cracker."
Step 2 — Offer an alternative. "Would you like a new cracker?"
Step 3 — The new cracker is also unacceptable.
Step 4 — Strategic snack deployment. Goldfish? No. Banana? Absolutely not. String cheese? We're getting somewhere.
Step 5 — Negotiate terms. "If you eat three bites we can watch one show."
Step 6 — Terms are rejected. Counter offer incoming.
Step 7 — Pray. Quietly. Desperately. Sincerely. 🙏

FBI negotiators have absolutely nothing on toddler moms. We are out here daily talking people off ledges over broken crackers, wrong color cups, and socks that feel funny, all while maintaining a calm exterior and asking God for patience in real time.

To the mama who has been up since before the sun. To the one who prayed over her children before anyone else was awake. To the one who has been carrying things quietly, loving fiercely, and showing up faithfully every single day of the year — not just today.
This day is for you.

Not just for the labor and the delivery and the beautiful moments that make it into the photos. For the invisible work. The 3am feedings. The whispered prayers. The patience chosen on empty. The love that never stopped even on the hardest days.
Motherhood is holy work. Every single day of it. And you have been doing sacred, kingdom-level, eternally significant work since the moment you became a mother. ✨

It's the weekend. The kids don't know that. 😂🙏

Nobody told them that Saturday is supposed to feel different. Nobody warned them that mama was maybe, just maybe, hoping for five quiet minutes and a hot coffee before the chaos began.
The snack requests started at 7am. Someone needed help finding a shoe. Someone else had a very urgent question about dinosaurs that absolutely could not wait. And yet. Here we are. Surviving Saturday on grace and whatever is left in the coffee pot. 😅

That doesn't mean the worry disappears. Every mama knows that feeling. The middle of the night scenarios. The what-ifs that won't quiet down. The weight of loving someone so much it physically hurts sometimes. But she knows where to take it.

To the One who knew her child before she did. The One who holds what her arms cannot reach. The One who sees every prayer she has ever whispered in the dark and counts every single one. 🙏

You are seen. Every single day.

The midnight feeding nobody witnessed. The prayer whispered over a sleeping child. The patience chosen when there was none left. The love given on completely empty. The worry carried quietly so nobody else had to.

All of it is seen. All of it counts. None of it is wasted.
