Today I have this quilt up on the sewing table. Let me tell you its story: Years ago (no, at this time in my life I can’t tell you if years ago was yesterday, or ten years, or twenty years- but that’s not important🤪) Buster was cleaning out his T-shirt drawer. I decided to create a quilt when I saw these colors together. My sister was visiting Felice Orlando and she said that the name of this quilt is Dynamic Equilibrium. She went on to explain that it means “a state of balance between a continuing process”. Then she went on to explain the colors.
Blue: the person (me)
Yellow: the light/the spirituality
Green: where the spirituality meets the person
White: purified; cleansed
If you know my sister, she sees the world in such a beautiful way… even in the layout of a quilt.
