Apparently, I may have slightly overestimated how much everyone wanted to eat at the market Saturday. 😂 Sooo… my loss can be your gain!

I don't think I'll ever get tired of making pretty little sugar cookies. 💕

There's just something about taking a simple cookie and turning it into something completely different with a little royal icing.

And yes...I absolutely eat the “ugly” ones. 😂

There are some orders that just feel especially meaningful.

I was honored to create these cookies to celebrate a baptism—a day filled with faith, family, and love.

I always hope that what I make becomes a small part of someone's memories. Whether it's a birthday, wedding, baby shower, graduation, or a special day like this, it's a privilege to help celebrate life's milestones.

Guess what?! I'm heading to Brunch & Browse! 🥐☕🍪

Next Saturday, I'll be setting up at this beautiful women-owned indoor market, and I'm bringing a whole table full of sweet treats with me!

I'll have decorated sugar cookies, FOUR flavors of biscotti, lemon bars, Linzer cookies, and my brown butter chocolate chip cookies. 😍

And because I couldn't possibly choose just one thing for you to try, I've put together a Brunch Special so you can sample a little bit of everything!

Confession...

I have a really hard time letting good produce go to waste.

So when I ended up with WAY more nectarines than any reasonable person should own...I did what any kitchen-obsessed baker would do.

I turned it into an experiment.

Some became homemade syrup.
Some became rich nectarine butter.
There were plenty of lessons learned along the way (and maybe a little panic 😂), but that's one of my favorite parts of being in the kitchen.

Sometimes the best recipes aren't planned.

They're discovered.

Now I'm already dreaming up ways to use that nectarine butter...

👀 (Spoiler: it might end up inside some macarons if my first attempt goes well!)

Today's office. ❤️

Some days it's perfectly organized.

Some days there are dishes stacked in the sink, cookie cutters everywhere, and three different projects happening at once.

Today was definitely one of those days.

People see the finished cookies...
They don't always see the planning, mixing, baking, decorating, family chaos, cleaning, and (let's be honest) washing the same mixing bowl or tray for the tenth time.

But I wouldn't trade this messy little kitchen for anything.

It's where ideas become birthday parties, baby showers, anniversaries, and family memories. It's where I experiment, learn, and grow. It's definitely the heart of my home..

And I still get excited every time I walk into it.

This "First Rodeo" set was so much fun to create. I always enjoy when a theme lets me mix simple designs with more detailed cookies because every piece gets its own little personality.

One of the best parts of custom cookies is watching an idea come to life one cookie at a time until the whole set finally comes together.

I still get excited every single time that happens.

🥧 "Not every experiment is a winner..."

Can I let you in on a little secret?
Not everything that comes out of my kitchen is picture perfect.

A while back I was working on a nectarine tart.
In my head?
It was going to be incredible.

Reality...
Not so much. 😂

The custard ended up with tiny little curds instead of that silky smooth texture I was after, and the tart just wasn't what I had imagined.

I could have called it a total loss...
But instead, I looked at that custard and thought...
"There has to be another way."

So I turned it into crème brûlée.
And THAT?
That was the redemption arc this recipe deserved.
(Go see my previous post for that glamor shot!)

Sometimes, the best recipes happen because another one didn't.
I'm learning that baking isn't about never making mistakes.
It's about learning something every single time you step into the kitchen.

And honestly...
Those lessons are just as valuable as the blue ribbons.

Not every celebration calls for a traditional cake...

Sometimes, the answer is a giant cookie. ❤️

This birthday cookie cake was made for Lucas, complete with NY Giants themed decorations. Football, jersey, and red, white, and blue buttercream. I love getting to create desserts that are a little different while still making someone's celebration feel special.

One of my favorite parts of what I do is that no two orders are ever exactly alike. One week it's elegant baby shower cookies, the next it's a football-themed cookie cake.
Keeps life interesting...and definitely keeps me on my toes. 😄

Today was the day!! ❤️

Hearing myself on THE BEATLOCKER on POWER 98.3 this morning was equal parts exciting and surreal.

A huge thank you to everyone who tuned in, cheered me on, sent messages, or has supported this little dream of mine along the way.

Walking into that studio a few days ago was nerve-racking, but it was also one of those moments that reminded me why I'm working so hard.

Thank you to Asa • Content Creator and everyone at The Beatlocker Show for having me. I had such a great time, and yes...I brought treats. 😄

I'm still smiling from ear to ear!
