Esta Scindapsus Pictus 'Exotica' estaba en un rincón hecha bola en la maceta. La moví para tomarle una foto para venderla y me encantó lo largas que están las ramas (se le llama ramas a las de las plantas? Ilústrenme 😅😅😅). Se merecía un lugar especial arriba del armario 😍🤩.

Por muchos años me encantó el estilo farmhouse pero buscaba cambiar la decoración mi casa. Creo que el estilo que busco es una mezcla entre boho y mid century modern... ¡con muchas plantas!
Esa palma gigante la encontré en especial en Lowe’s y no la pude dejar atrás. Ando buscando el lugar perfecto para ponerla (arriba de la mesa no se ve muy bien 🤷🏻‍♀️).

¡La mejor honors que he hecho en muchos años! Tan solo $3.49 en 😍.

Paint it’s an easy way to update old furniture. To keep my costs down I’ve been making my own chalk paint following this recipe:

3 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons calcium carbonate powder (I bought mine on Amazon)

*Mix well and add to:

1 cup latex paint (I use matte or satin)
Stir well. If the paint is too thick you can add more water. Keep in a sealed container.

Disclaimer: I’ve tried many recipes found online but this one is my favorite so far. No prep needed because who has time to sand furniture?
Just clean the surface and you’re ready to go.

I wish I knew who came up with this recipe so I could them them they’re a genius!
