Hey ladies! Hope everyone is staying safe, and practicing social distancing as much as you can. It’s so important for arresting this virus as soon as possible.
Thought I’d share a little pick-me-up, from Gun Tote’n Mamas.
Remember, as with ANY holster, you MUST practice safely accessing your firearm from your bag. Make doubly sure your firearm is unloaded, with any ammunition completely in another room!!!! Check your firearm multiple times to insure it is empty! Empty magazine, empty chamber!

These purses are field tested to show that you can, with practice, learn to access your firearm in less than 3 seconds. Make that your goal. Practice in front of a mirror, or have someone video, so that you can make sure you are not muzzling your own hand, foot, belly, or the person standing next to you, during your draw.

As many of my friends know, I am a Chapter Leader for a local chapter of The Well Armed Women Shooting Chapters, and now a Corporate Accounts Manager for Gun Tote'n Mamma Conceal Carry Handbags. I am so proud to be a part of these two organizations. I joined TWAW because I believe in our mission. To educate/equip/empower women to be their own self-protectors. And I became a part of GTM because they(we) are serious about women's self-protection. I was perusing our new GTM website and came across this on the blog. (Follow link) It is a blog written for retailers, suggesting how they should train their sales associates to step up to the plate to inform their customers about the necessity of, and the 'how to', for choosing the BEST off-body conceal carry bag. And how important it is to challenge them to (regularly) train with it. It occurred to me that the 4 shared points are important to all of us as that use off body carry options.
