Wednesday will be our final weekday market of the 2024 season at Fulton Street Market

Fulton Street has long held a special place in my heart. My Grandma taught me to crochet at 7yo. Within a year I was stitching doll clothes. 42 years ago our family friend, Claire, worked at Fulton Street & brought me along to sell my doll clothes. It was such a fun experience.

Ten years ago, 3 of our 4 of our sons & I started this little business at Fulton Street. We were very busy, selling at Fulton Street, Aquinas, & Metro weekly. It was a great experience, but we stopped to prioritize their childhood. I worked my business outside of the market over the years.

In 2023, as my life was transitioning from my primary roll as a full time SAHM, I was a bit unmoored. I needed something to help me through the quiet days that were upon me with all my children grown. I decided it was time to go back to the market. There was no question that Fulton Street was the market I wanted to join. I have had the blessed opportunity to bring along the new babes in our lives too. They love coming with me to the Farmers Market on occasion, having car picnics, and visiting vendor friends, just as my own little boys once did.

This little business that started out as mostly organic skin care with occasional sewn items has turned into a business without skin care (most of the time) & a lot of sewn items. I really love making and promoting reusable cloth items, but I have the most fun with childrens items. It was such a joy to add to our business this year. The market response has been incredible, and I have truly loved picking out designs and all the prettiest silk filaments to print for each market. Natural & Handmade has been such a fun journey. I'm excited about all the things we can create in the off season & look forward to Spring when we are back!

As always, reach out if I can fulfill a special order. I'll keep posting about upcoming events now that the farmers market season is ending. It's been such a great season and I wish it weren't over. We might not have the weather on our side, but we're still excited about Taste of East & Taste of Art tonight! We're definitely showing up with our canopy walls just in case. Looking forward to seeing everyone coming out to support in tonight!

Today we were set up at the Grandville 4th of July celebration. It was a wonderfully fun day. I loved the interactions, and sending so many happy kiddos home with things that brought them joy. The weather was nearly perfect, and all the 4th of July festivities made the day extra special. A special thank you to everyone who supported our little business today. It was our best market day ever and I'm exceedingly grateful for your support! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

This sweet woman visited my booth at Fulton Street Market today. She picked up a fun bowl cover she's been eyeing, and decided a fun pair of sunnies are next on her list. 🌞

Witten, Jonah, & Cecelia made personalized necklaces @ Grandville Farmers Market today. It's fun seeing what colors & beads each kiddo chooses, and I especially 💜 seeing all kids with unique names go home with something with their name on it.
