I own and do everything for Hippie Love Lifestyle ✨. Gary is my support system biggest fan & cheerleader. This business would not continue without him!
Social Media is hard!
I was doing great in June and posting everyday, but I’m a creative and I want to create so I get distracted in the world of creating and forget about Social Media.
Gary and I are also movie makers and we have this amazing project we are working on so this also takes my time.
How do small businesses post on social media ALL THE TIME?
When I had a store front it was easy, now I struggle. To stay relevant you have to stay in peoples faces.

Who else feels this? I can’t be the only one.

Nature has always been one of my greatest sources of inspiration. 🌼
One of my favorite things about living in Texas is the wildflowers. Every spring, the roadsides come alive with beautiful blooms, and by late spring and early summer, everything seems to glow with shades of yellow and gold.
I don't always realize it while I'm creating, but later I'll look at a finished piece and think... there they are. The colors, textures, and little details that first caught my eye out in nature somehow found their way into my work.
Creativity has a funny way of doing that.
Sometimes inspiration comes from a vintage quilt...
Sometimes from an old piece of lace...
And sometimes, it's as simple as a field of wildflowers on the side of the road.

This fabric was originally a pillow case woven and sewn in Georgia in the 1970s by Thomaston Mills.
