Hey ya'll! Baby is going to be here very soon and I just wanted to let everyone know that I really appreciate all of the business I have been receiving. However, at this time, I will not be accepting any more work until further notice. I still have a lot to do to get ready for the baby including making cloth diapers, burp cloths and other projects. I am becoming more and more uncomfortable in my 3rd trimester and I just want to focus on getting things ready and any work that I agreed to take on prior to this post (while I still have the energy). I am hoping that the transition into postpartum will be smooth and I can resume taking on new clients and more work in October. Thank you all for your support and understanding.🩵

There is so much more that goes into garment making than just sewing. She didn't even talk about ironing, which is probably lumped in with her sewing breakdown. This is a great representation of why seamstresses and tailors charge what they do. This is why I don't charge my clients by the hour, I charge by the service to create a fair price for my clients.
