This hat!

1. Total inspiration. I had a book. I saw a pic of Edith Kendall circa 1920s. (She’s a total bad a$$) I really wanted to make a tall hat inspired by her.

2. I did it. I thought … Am I nuts?! I still went for it.

3. I took a photo shoot. I was really drawn to the photos. That shape!

3. And then I fell in love.

4. I still questioned myself.

5. And then I really really fell in love. 😍

6. And then I claimed it! (Well the sample I claimed)

I freaking LOVE wearing my Edith Kendall. She takes every outfit UP a notch (or ten).

It was a collage image I did. This joyous woman and her lil tilted sombrero.

And then I kept thinking about it. I wanted that hat!

So I made it. And now I am in love. 😍
