WOULD YOU RIDE INTO A BRANDING?

The response to my original branding experience idea was strong. My fall weekends filled up quickly, so I teamed up with W Spur Horsemanship to bring that experience into our Ultimate Ranch Horse Experience.

📍 Cottonwood, Idaho
📅 October 17–18
💵 $400 investment
🏕️ Dry camping and stalls available
🐴 Small group with hands-on instruction

Saturday and Sunday morning, we’ll prepare you and your horse to:

• Rope
• Read and work cattle
• Control your horse in ranch situations
• Handle the pressure of a branding environment

Sunday afternoon, you’ll put those skills to work as we “brand” the cattle.

You won’t just practice random exercises. You’ll build the foundation, confidence, and experience needed to find out whether you and your horse are prepared for a real branding.

If you contacted me about the original idea, this is your opportunity to claim a spot.

You don’t need another random lesson. You need a development plan.

The Stache Ranch Horse Development Program is for you if you want to:

• Build confidence through better understanding—not just encouragement
• Know what to do when your horse becomes incorrect
• Develop practical skills that work outside the arena
• Make measurable progress with clear goals and consistent coaching
• Become more capable and independent with your horse

You’ll learn how to prepare your horse, ride with purpose, recognize problems, make corrections and move forward—without waiting for everything to feel perfect.

This is an ongoing development program, not a quick fix. Your sessions build on each other through structured instruction, homework, feedback and real-world application.

The program is currently full, but I’m building the wait list for future openings.

The investment is $300 per month. When a spot becomes available, qualified riders on the wait list will be contacted first.

Located in Greenacres, WA

Bring a horse or use ours.

If you’re ready to stop guessing and start developing, message WAIT LIST to Stache Ranch.

Stache Says: Stop Wasting Your Rides

Winter is coming. Don’t let your next few rides be random.

Stache Says is an audio playlist built for the rider who gets on their horse and thinks:

“Okay… what should I work on?”

Hit play.

The playlist shuffles every time, so your ride is never exactly the same.

Your job is simple:

Get into the maneuver.
Maintain it.
Recognize when it’s correct.
Leave it.
Transition to the next thing.

Don’t chase perfection. Just ride your best.

As you ride, take mental notes:

• What did I like?
• What needs work?
• What needs a lot of work?

And when the playlist ends, evaluate your ride.

Not: “That sucked.”

Instead: “My transition was late because I wasn't prepared early enough.”

That gives you something you can actually fix.

Stache Says gives your ride a purpose without telling you exactly what to do every second.

You hit play.
You ride.
You think.
You learn.

Then you use what you learned on your next ride.

Sign up for the WT or WTL Stache Says playlist and give your rides a purpose before winter.

The skills you practice in the arena should mean something when you leave the arena.

A client recently shared something with me that really stuck with me.

She had attended numerous lessons and clinics at Stache Ranch, but it wasn’t until last October that she truly saw how those skills transferred to real ranch work.

Her family had a cow get-out, so she called me.

What she watched next connected the dots.

Gates. Obstacles. Positioning. Reading cattle. Stockmanship. Making adjustments when things didn’t go exactly as planned.

The same foundation we had worked on in the arena was being used out in the countryside—when it actually mattered.

That’s the purpose behind what I teach at Stache Ranch.

The goal isn’t to teach you exercises just so you can perform them in an arena.

The goal is to help you build the skills, timing, feel, positioning, and confidence you need so you can actually use your horse when the job requires it.

And there’s no better place to test that foundation than live cattle.

Take your horsemanship to the next level with two days of ranch horse work, live cattle, and real-world application with W Spur Horsemanship.

These aren't clinics where you simply ride around and check exercises off a list.

You’ll learn why the skills matter, how to apply them, and how to make better decisions when your horse and the cattle don't follow the plan.

If you want your arena work to actually transfer to the ranch, these are the clinics you need to be at.

Spots are limited.
