Recently I was asked to help with a truly special project. A soon-to-be grandma wanted to create a special piece for her daughter to honor her late dad. (Who, might I add, would be absolutely over the moon to be having a granddaughter. 🩷)

There is more than meets the eye to the sweet bear embroidered here. It is made of a sweater. But not just any sweater. A sweater worn by grandpa, so that Hadley Jo always has something special to remember him.

It’s times like these I am humbled to be doing what I do. It’s truly an honor to be apart of these moments with you. 🐻

On May 16th we welcomed our last little love, Sutten Dwayne.

I expected to be back in this little corner of my world much sooner. But at 10 days old this little ball of fire had us in the ER followed by a short stint at Dallas Children’s. He gave us a little scare but he’s okay now! We’re figuring out our new normal with 3 kiddos, but just with one with a heart that likes to beat a little fast sometimes. ❤️‍🩹

With all that said, I’m ready to get back to stretching my creative muscles. School is coming soon, so let me know if I can help with any of your embroidery needs!

Thank you for giving our little family the time to bond and learn and heal. 🤍 I’m excited to be back creating for all of you.
