Swamp Music Company began with a wild theory that turned into something much bigger. One day, my husband Justin said, “What if no one’s ever captured a clear picture of Bigfoot because... what if he’s just naturally blurry?” We laughed, and then, just like that, we knew we had to put it on a shirt. And that, my friends, is how it all started!
From that moment on, the ideas just kept flowing. Soon, we were dreaming up designs like an alien fishing with a beam of light, or Bigfoot jamming out with his alien buddy. And of course, we couldn't resist tossing in some fun beard-related shirts—Justin’s beard gets so much attention, it only made sense to celebrate it with a design or two.
As parents, we knew we had to add some parenting humor to the mix—because if there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s that raising kids gives you a lifetime’s worth of funny moments. I (Michelle) also brought in my love for books and true crime, which means you’ll find some unique, book-inspired tees and designs with a little true crime. And then, because of the love of music and video games in our home, we made sure to add designs that celebrate those passions too.
So here at Swamp Music, you’ll find a mash-up of Justin’s and my personalities, a mix of humor, nostalgia, weirdness, and things that just make us smile. We wanted to create apparel that feels as fun, quirky, and unexpected as we are, and we hope it brings that same joy to everyone who wears it.
