When I first started tooling leather, skulls intimidated me. I love skulls in art and wanted to get them right but didn't have the confidence in my skills to attempt one. Now they are one of my favorite things to make and I'm proud of how far I've come with my skills. This skull is only 2.5 inches and something I would have never attempted a few years ago.
