queries regarding size, fit, printing, shipping, payment etc. Since I was a child, I’ve had a fondness for t-shirts... plain, graphic, my pa’s that was 3x too big for me - I just liked a good tee. In 2014 I even decided to wear a plain white tee (and jeans) every day for the entire year. What I love about t-shirts is how they truly suit everybody and how they can act as a way of expressing oneself
. Over the years I constantly had ideas of designs I wanted to see on a tee.. I went as far as making some myself. But the quality wasn't great and I could never seem to get the look/feel I was after, plus I could never make or sell them publicly due to the expense involved. Enter Teespring. I read about Teespring in September 2017 and it seemed too fun to be true; a site that lets you place your own designs on some merch, prints the item, packages it and handles the shipping for you. My first few designs were done as a kind of joke, I simply wanted to grasp how it all worked. Before I knew it I was actually selling tees... to strangers! It felt like magic. So I kept on designing. Troublemaker Tees has continued to be my small side project. I find designing an obscure, often cheeky tee, is incredibly sedative. I’ve no plan to make a career out of it, but I do plan to keep designing and selling via Teespring for as long as it makes sense to. Why not? Teespring does indeed have its pros and cons. The items + shipping can be rather costly. Everything is printed either in the United States or Europe. I also have little knowledge about the print technique or the fit of certain tees - and until I’m able to buy each of them myself, I’ll never know... this is where your feedback helps! Unfortunately my role is purely as designer... all orders are anonymous from my end and any issues with shipping, the product, payment etc. should go through Teespring. The great side from my perspective, is that I can allow a percentage of profit from each tee to be sent to a charity of my choice. Teespring offers this option with ease and I really love it. Well... I suppose that’s about it. My little tee journey. I hope you find something you like. TT
