AI can sound completely sure of itself and still be wrong.

It can miss a deadline, assume you qualify for something you do not, misunderstand an email, or recommend an action that should have gone to a human first.

So this morning I’m teaching a simple five-part review I use called the TRACE Check:

T — Task: What did you ask?
R — Response: What did it say or do?
A — Accuracy: What failed, was missing, or was assumed?
C — Consequence: Why does it matter?
E — Escalate: What is the safer answer or human-review step?

You do not need to be technical to use it. You just need one AI answer you are willing to check honestly.

Claude (the AI from Anthropic) had a quiet but big month, and most folks missed it.

Here's what actually changed:

✨ Claude can finally REMEMBER things between sessions when it's running as your helper. So it stops asking you the same setup questions every Monday.

✨ A new top-tier Claude (Opus 4.7) launched at the same price as the last one. Better brain, no upcharge.

✨ Older versions are being retired by June 15. If you've built something on the old ones, time to plan.

✨ There was a rough patch with Claude Code earlier this month. Anthropic owned it publicly and fixed it — which honestly is the kind of thing that builds trust.
