I am still processing all of the decisions I’ve made regarding Luxe Reloved (see “LR news” highlight for all the details). And realize there are a few more to come.

The thoughtful messages I’ve received from customers, family, and friends have been… really meaningful. I’m tearing up as a I write this.

I am going to clean this particular LV today, and it’s going to be an emotional process. I am really amazed of what I’ve achieved with Luxe Reloved thus far. All the credit goes to God, who has been my anchor throughout this journey. I can continually go to prayer, scripture, and my Christian values for guidance and reassurance that all will be well. Even in times like these. I have no regrets.

Thanks to the success of Luxe Reloved, we have given over $1,000 to and that will always be something to be proud of.

This ended up being a more contemplative and vulnerable post than I intended. But with all the junk on the internet these days, maybe true transparency will be welcome on your feed.

Hey y’all- I’m still here!

I took a little break. I needed some time.

I’ve shared some of the “highs” of running this small business, so I should share a “low”.

I made a costly mistake. I misunderstood the tariffs. I really thought I figured it all out. Since some bags come from a wholesaler overseas I needed to know what my options were. Hours on the phone & the internet… but I still missed something. It was a very painful, expensive, shocking realization. I was really upset with myself.

But I have to keep going.

There are beautiful bags to sell to fantastic customers. I love being a shop that delivers exactly what the buyer was hoping for at a fair price. I love being the shop with the stellar reputation. I love being the shop that gives to charity. There is a lot of good in Luxe Reloved and I’m not going anywhere!

To my fellow small business owners who are feeling the effects of tariffs whether directly or indirectly- I hope we can weather this storm and come out even better on the other side. There is a lot of value in small businesses (even teensy ones like mine) and we need to lift each other up!

Bravo to all of you who are innovating, pivoting, and hanging tough. And to those who had to close their doors- I grieve with you.

My Christian faith has been a big part of Luxe Reloved. It keeps me humble, it guides me in decision making, and it reminds me what’s really important. I give 13% of the profits to charity because I’ve learned about the beauty and joy that come from serving others in various forms. Happy Easter y’all! He is risen!

The Pochette Twin GM in Monogram canvas by LV is a sleek, stylish multi-way bag. It was a very popular bag when it was new in the boutique, along with its little sister the Pochette Twin PM. The GM is my preferred size, because it holds my iPhone, a slim cardholder, a lip product, and a house key. Of course, your mileage may vary based on the size of your phone/lipgloss/cardholder etc. It’s a small but mighty bag!

Celine was founded in 1945, as a children’s shoe shop. In the 1960s the house expanded into leather accessories. The brand developed a reputation for high quality leathers and chic design. This handbag is a very rare vintage gem!
