We are the Hillsdale College Chapter of the Alexander Hamilton Society. We promote education and discussion of foreign policy, geopolitics, and economics.

On Thursday, Mr. Mark Simon came to present a lecture on East Asia. Mr. Simon, along with former Ambassador Joseph Cella, shared wonderful conversations with the students after the lecture. We give sincere thanks to them for their time spent in Hillsdale College, and we looking forward inviting them again in the future.

On Tuesday, Dr. Borshchevskaya from The Washington Institute came and presented a lecture on Russian foreign policy. It was an honor to have her. Thanks to those who came, and please stay tuned for future events.

On Thursday, Dr. Ryan Berg presented a great lecture on the rise of socialism in South America. We give thanks to Dr. Berg for his willingness to travel here to give us a lecture, and we appreciate the members who contributed to the event.

Yesterday, the AHS presented a debate on Counterinsurgency between our own Dr. Moyar and Dr. Peter from Ohio State University. Enriching the audience with great intellect, the debate was both a share of views as well as a lecture for the listeners. We give thanks to both professors who spent time and effort to this dialogue, and we appreciate the club members and those who showed up for their contributions to the event.

On Thursday, David P. Goldman, a Spengler Columnist for Asia Times, had a lecture on his view on future progress on technological advancement and politics as well as the Chip War between the U.S. and China. Thanks to Mr. Goldman as well as those who put in effort to make this event possible.

Zack Cooper presented an excellent lecture on different aspects of Japan as well as its future strategies. We give thanks to Mr. Cooper as well as those who came!

What a great war! On Saturday, the Hillsdale AHS hosted a successful and exciting war game. Similar to the real history, the CCP annihilated the KMT. We give thanks to those who participated as war members for their strategic mind and innovative ideas. We also give thanks for the AHS members who worked particularly hard to carry out this game! Stay tuned for the upcoming events!

This evening, Hillsdale AHS hosted a panel on careers in foreign policy with alums and parents working in think tanks, consulting groups, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and the State Department. Thank you to all those who came and to our panelists for their participation and valuable insight. Stay tuned for more AHS events!

Triumph Regained has turned out to be a successful event! We give thanks to Dr. Moyar for his great lecture on history of Vietnam War and his introduction about his new book as well as to the audiences who came. Also, we give thanks to our AHS Officers who contributed throughout and to the History Department’s Center of Military History and Grand Strategy for sponsoring this event.
