My hometown Hilo, MAHALO.
Mele Manaka 2026 ✅
This was my first Merrie Monarch season that I was part of the Kako'o ohana, and lemme tell you- it’s the place to be, the businesses to be right along side, the people who come and support. Everything Kako’o stands for and represents, it shines through strong. This community is amazing!
So much work went into prepping for these 3 days, and just like that, it’s pau. But what a whirlwind. Choke laughing and plenty memories made. Got to see so many faces I haven’t seen in long time. Mahalo mahalo mahalo, to everyone who came and braved the crowds and shopped, I am so grateful!!
Mahalo to my family who supports me behind the scenes, deals with the messy living room, hauling bins, and the super busy mom who’s always working during this season. My parents who are always willing to help whenever they can with the kids and when I need a last minute new booth stand made 🤣thanks Dad.
Thanks to my Principal who lets me take off every year even though everyone else wants this week off too 😬 and for subbing for me!!
And to my besties, cousins, bff’s kids! Tysm for always being there to help in my booth, late nights packing, tagging, setting up. You guys are THE best!!
I better start sewing jackets for next year already!! 😂🫶🏼
