Pueoʻs wise gaze meets the sky.

Hidden treasures in palapalai leaves,
Magic woven through koa trees.
Find them in the forest deep,
Where ancient spirits gently sleep.

Feedback Please 🙋🏻‍♀️

I’m entering a design challenge and need some help to choose the best background color for this design: Green, Purple or Black. Please help me decide. 💕

This Spoonflower challenge is to create a piece with hidden pictures. So I decided to call this the Enchanted Forest and hide some Iiwi birds, Pueo (Owls), Anianiau birds and Happy Face Spiders among Palapalai and Koa. Can you find them?

New Blanket!! Hand-painted Native Hawaiian ʻAnianiau bird, digitally captured onto a velveteen blanket.

The ‘anianiau is the smallest Hawaiian honeycreeper, endemic to Kaua‘i.  Adult males are brilliant yellow; females also are yellow, but duller. Constantly on the move, ‘anianiau feed on nectar from ‘ōhi‘a, ‘ōhelo, ‘alani, and other native and introduced plants. They also glean arthropods from the outer canopy and smaller twigs and branches of ‘ōhi‘a and koa trees as well as from the foliage of shrubs, vines, and the fronds of tree ferns

Hula ❤️ Love

It’s been over 30 years that I’ve been on this stage. I am filled with gratitude to be able to be with my Ka Ua Kani Lehua ‘Ohana again. Love you Uncle Johnny. All the feels returning, the bright lights, the unity, the music, the laughter, and hearing Uncle Johnny’s voice is overwhelming. (Thank goodness for technology)

Huge mahalo for all my hula sisters who encouraged me to come back to dance. Love you guys 😘 Feel a little creaky but still go 🤣
