.: YESTERDAY :. at Roselle’s 6th annual Rock the Block party. Thank you S.O.A.R. Hospitality and Travel and Councilwoman Rosie McCamery for hosting this incredible community event and for welcoming me into Ward 5. I had a great time and loved getting to know my new neighbors.

Anybody else's year a bit of a doozy? You can tell mine has been bc I only have one outfit pic on my phone...the rest are my attempts at remembering my train station parking spot number so I don't get a ticket for entering the wrong one on Park Mobile. Kind of chic tho, right?

So the story (my complaining) goes like this:
-almost bought a house!
-landlord of 3 years offered our rental/his house wayyyy over market rate for the area + all the issues it has/had
-moved from Fanwood, NJ to Roselle, NJ instead and ta-da! $700 cheaper
-like new rental but tree fell on roof one month in...
-now have fun custom water feature on second floor and $600 AC bill

But but but trying to be optimistic...

-still working at j.crew fcty
-found an amazing group of girls that are my monthly book club
