**In the Studio | “White Peony”**

An intimate look into the heart of a peony.

Layers of white—ivory, pearl, cream and light—create a peaceful, ethereal presence.

At **34 × 44**, this fine art photograph has a beautiful sense of scale—quiet and sophisticated, yet commanding in a room.

There is hope in every season. 🌷❄️

Even when the landscape looks quiet, barren, or covered in snow, something beautiful may already be taking shape.

This image was born from that place of waiting — a reminder that hope doesn’t always announce itself. Sometimes, it simply asks us to look again.

From *In the Garden* — page 62.

**Hope in every season.**

Three beautiful days at the Chicago Botanic Garden Gift Shop. 🌿

Thank you!!! — Friends of The Garden who stopped to visit-

There is something incredibly special about seeing my art become part of someone’s life — worn, held, read, and enjoyed.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, supported my work, and shared these three beautiful days with me. ❤️

Until next time… 🌿✨

What a wonderful weekend! ❤️

Thank you to everyone who stopped by my booth, took the time to connect, and welcomed my artwork into your homes. Meeting fellow art lovers and collectors is one of the best parts of doing shows, and I’m so grateful for your support.

If you missed the show, you can see more of my work at my website (link in bio).

For years he’s walked by and stopped to take in the ‘Red Tulips’.

“My favorite flower,
I love it just don’t have the space..”
a nod of appreciation,
then he was on his way.

One day when he stopped I said;

“Gonna have to charge you rent-“ 😉

He smiled, pulled out a dollar bill and handed it over-:)

Today he stopped in to see the Red Tulips, told me he just ordered 150 tulip bulbs and then his eyes drifted to this;
‘The Promise.’

“I have one wall left and I’ve been waiting for years-“

So here is the Tulip Lover, home with
‘The Promise’.

A little over a year ago, Terri walked into my booth and immediately her vision was planted.

That day, she chose ‘Sparkle’ Poncho-
a foreshadow of the next.

Since then, she and her husband have completed a beautiful home renovation and selected three of my wetland images to become part of her newly remodeled space.

Terri loves nature, and each of the three pieces was captured in the quiet beauty of early morning light — a season of spring, new beginnings, hope, and fresh energy.

Today she picked up the centerpiece: **Light Years Ahead**, a 40” × 60” statement piece that now welcomes everyone into her dining room.

With recessed lighting and an unobstructed wall, the image has room to breathe, inviting the viewer into the scene as if looking through a window into the wetlands.

As an artist, there is nothing quite like seeing a vision planted in a collector’s heart finally find its place in her home. Thank you, Terri, for embracing these quiet moments in nature and making them part of your everyday life.

“I came prepared…”
She opened her bag out came 3 fabric swatches, paper with dimensions and an album on her phone titled ART- with pictures of her spaces to fill.

AWESOME

“Gardenia” for one spot and a custom size of another piece I’ll deliver…

We discuss delivery options, she pays
Apple Pay on her watch - super cool -
as I’m wrapping I ask,

“So, where are they going..?”

My home office.

“What is your line of work..?”
I always like to secretly guess-:)

“I’m a CFO and I work with companies, mainly pre-seed startups to develop growth strategy. Help them plan expansion, know when and how to seek funding for growth…
Operational and investment issues…”

AWESOME
