Gosh! It’s been a long time since I’ve posted anything! I feel like you deserve an explanation. Apologies for the long post!
I’ve always enjoyed posting pictures of customer orders that have passed through my hands. It shows people what I’ve been working on and what I’m capable of when it comes to sewing repairs. Trying to keep up with the comments and posts on those pictures is almost a full-time job! A quick example includes people finding a random picture of a customer order, wanting to purchase it, and continuing to argue with me over why I couldn’t sell it to them. It was very tiring as well as stressful!
Also, many people have shared my posts on their own page to help me advertise my business which I sincerely appreciate. However, some of those people have their Facebook settings so I can’t go view that post or see any of the comments or questions asked. A couple of people were angry they never got a reply from me when I never saw their post on one of those pages. I’m not sure how to correct that except to reissue my new phone number 405-220-5359. Basically, it was taking more of my time to monitor the page than I wanted to spend. With Facebook Meta and Meta AI trying to run this page for me and constantly having to figure out what happened to something on my page because of their rules or restrictions, I decided to take a step back. I do still monitor this page; however, I’ve decided to take a break on posting pictures of customer orders or my own projects.
Initially, I was concerned about losing business. What I’ve discovered is I have a true customer base that brings me business and tells others what I’m doing. Also, I’ve picked up new customers who have been told to bring their sewing repair items to me. Business is staying steady! That’s really all I ever wanted.
I’m still sewing. I’m still here. I’m still happy, thankful, and extremely grateful for my customers, family, friends, and followers of this page.
