Now accepting flare jean insert, custom patchwork, and floral embroidery commissions in the Houghton area!

Have an old pair of jeans that could use a little style? These are great options for you! All commissions use unique second-hand fabric. I will be posting what I have in stock soon as well as a general price guide. If you have a fabric you think will fit your style that you’d like to include in an alteration, let’s talk! These customizations are flexible and open to creative input.

More services/products coming soon! 👀

Price will vary for each customization. Dm me or email at [email protected] for business inquiries/pricing!

Hi, I’m Liv! For the last three years, I’ve been customizing my own wardrobe and creating my own pieces, occasionally tailoring/creating for friends and family, and it’s been extremely rewarding. As I’ve grown my skills in tailoring, patchwork, and custom makes, I’d like to open myself to commissions this summer (hence this page). I am currently based in Houghton, hoping to carry this project to Mount Pleasant when I return for school in the fall.

I’m a huge advocate for repurposing old wardrobe pieces and second-hand fabrics. There’s enough fabric on this planet to clothe the next six generations, and I firmly believe that by thrifting, repurposing, and using deadstock fabrics, there is so much potential for good quality and fun clothing.

So what does this mean for you? Besides being environmentally friendly, second-hand fabrics are much cheaper than new fabrics, and when combined with repurposing clothes from your own wardrobe, material costs are little to none. So with me, you’re mainly paying for labor, which makes custom items and designs affordable. Not to mention that with second-hand, every piece will be truly unique as each fabric only has a limited supply, making the end product custom to YOU.
