This armoire is crafted in a richly grained walnut, with intricate veneer accents and inlaid botanical patterns. It’s crowned with an elegant serpentine crest, featuring an ornate gilt ormolu floral garland and central cartouche. A grand beveled mirror anchors the center, beautifully framed by two wardrobe doors adorned with oval medallions, delicate floral ornamentation, and exquisite ormolu mounts.

From the refined escutcheons and tassel pulls to the sculptural feet finished with gilt accents, every detail speaks to old-world craftsmanship and timeless elegance. A true statement piece that’s perfect for a bedroom, dressing room, or entryway that’s begging for a touch of old world — bringing the romance and grandeur of a French Palais into your home.

Christmas dinner, layered in history ✨

Our table this year was a celebration of craftsmanship and tradition. Baccarat crystal caught the candlelight, paired with Christofle silverware and the unmistakable elegance of L’Objet Perlée details. Vintage bread plates added quiet character at each place setting, while a stunning antique German jardinière anchored the table with timeless presence.

The tablecloth was handmade by me, using vintage silk jacquard Scalamandré fabric—an homage to old-world textiles and the beauty of preserving them for modern gatherings.

Dinner honored tradition as much as design: Levantine freekeh with chicken, finished with hand-blanched and toasted almonds (freekeh is an ancient green wheat, nutty and smoky in flavor), Romanian cabbage rolls filled with seasoned meat and rice, slowly simmered until tender, and for dessert, Kozonac—a classic Eastern European sweet bread, rich with eggs, butter, and filled with nuts and cocoa and the tiny surprise bites of Turkish delight.

A Christmas table where antiques, craftsmanship, and heritage cooking all come together—exactly how these pieces were meant to live. 🎄✨

This season’s tree feels especially magical. ✨ We invested in a 12-foot prelit evergreen with that beautiful European, airy, sparse silhouette—the perfect canvas for the treasures we’ve collected over the years. As an antiques and vintage connoisseur, I’m endlessly drawn to ornaments that tell a story, and this tree is dressed in some of the finest craftsmanship you can still find.

From the hand-blown Murano glass pieces that catch the morning light, to the Polish glass ornaments with their rich color saturation and old-world sparkle, to the intricate goldwork embroidery stitched with metallic threads and tiny pearls—these are the kinds of decorations that remind us why quality never goes out of style. Each ornament is a small work of art, made with techniques passed down through generations.

Amid the grandeur, there’s whimsy too: nutcrackers, sleigh-riding Santas, little dogs (who look like our pup, Mickey), and cheerful pops of red mingling with soft blue ribbons. The whole tree feels like a page from a Christmas storybook—timeless, enchanting, and delightfully eclectic, the sort of beauty that outlives every trend.

Here’s to pieces made to last and the magic of a tree that grows more meaningful each year.🎄✨

Feeling especially grateful this Thanksgiving 🤎
This year brought a beautiful season of stepping back from the shop to focus on family, embracing a new chapter as a full-time commodities power trader, and welcoming the sweetest little pup into our lives.

I’m so thankful for the space to grow, breathe, and reset — and for this community that continues to support my love for antiques even in quieter seasons.

Looking forward to slowly and intentionally returning to the shop in 2026. Wishing you all a warm and joyful holiday! 🍂✨

Did I just start a new Reno before finishing my last one? Yes! But if you know me, this one is very much on brand. I couldn’t resist.

Inspired by as soon as I saw this beautiful wallpaper in her home.
I want everyone sleeping over in the guest bedroom to remember who’s the tapestry queen 👑😅🙄

Feeling plucked right out of a Chateau. The intricate needlework and turned wood legs are characteristic of Louis XIV and early Baroque influences, where furniture wasn’t just functional, but a true work of art. These handcarved Fauteuil Petit Point chairs were often used in salons and studies, meant to impress with both comfort and craftsmanship. She’d gone through a first cleaning and still more to come.

A sneak peak into Casa Saheb during the holidays. Decorating my antiques with delicate touches of Christmas. It’s a beautiful balance of timeless treasures and fresh touches. The real and faux greenery come together perfectly, adding a cozy, festive vibe while honoring the history of each piece. It’s my favorite tradition, filling the house with warmth, nostalgia, and a bit of holiday magic ✨
